I'm watching the new HBO show "Veep" starring Julia-Louise Dreyfus. Only three minutes into the irreverent comedy, Julia's character, who plays the US Vice-President, is offered a pair of glasses for a news conference. She responds with, "No, glasses make me look weak. It's like a wheelchair for the eye."
